About Textured Lives After graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1990 I worked hard to build a successful career in the textile industry, designing wallpaper, fabric and bedding for the world marketplace. In 2000 I became the Design Director for the largest leading curtain manufacturer and retailer in the United Kingdom. This wealth of experience has formed the foundation for Textured Lives, however, I wanted textiles to be so much more than just an “off the shelf” solution. Textured Life is a collection of exclusively designed bedding, fabrics, curtains, throws, cushions and rugs. Coordinated with carefully curated objects that evoke emotion and engage the senses. My vision is to help customers easily achieve a stylish yet comfortable personal space that respects both elements in equal measure by empowering them to have the confidence to build on their existing canvas or to be bold and create a completely new look.Read their story
