About Star Seed

Emilie & Ed co-founded Star Seed with a mission to regenerate the skincare industry. Faced with their own health issues, they saw a desperate need to bridge the growing gap between humans & nature. With the rise of chronic skin conditions and premature ageing, they set out to resurface healthy skin and radically improve the environment. Their journey took them to Kenya where they lived and developed a regenerative smallholder tree & mangrove planting initiative. Inspired by ancient botanical wisdom, they combined their passion for skincare, artisan design and provenance. A Star Seed was born. With every purchase, Star Seed invest 10% of their profits into regeneration with sourcing communities in Kenya. Since November 2022, they have planted over 3,000 trees & mangroves and impacted 100s of smallholder communities.
