About CYEL

CYEL was born in Marseille with the desire to create a sunglasses brand that is desirable, local and committed. The brand is inspired by the Mediterranean—its light, its way of life and the unique energy of Marseille. Our distinction lies in our material: our frames are made in France from recycled plastic, part of which comes from bottles collected in the Calanques and in the city of Marseille. Through each pair, we want to give an existing material a second life while offering a product with a strong, contemporary and durable design. CYEL is the meeting of style, lightness, French manufacturing and local roots. We did not want to create responsible glasses only, but a true lifestyle brand, carried by a sunny, modern and Mediterranean aesthetic.
