After years of struggling with sensitive skin and being diagnosed with dermatographia, our founder, Ryan (AKA: the "Mad Scientist") realized that most "soaps" on store shelves were actually not soap at all, but harsh detergents. In 2016, he set out to create a better alternative for himself. After countless trial batches, he perfected a formula that didn’t just clean; it healed. What started as a solution for one man’s skin issues quickly grew into a mission to bring high-quality, handcrafted grooming essentials to men everywhere. Today, Manliest Stuff Inc. is a family-owned business proud to manufacture on U.S. soil. We use only the finest ingredients like activated charcoal and clay to create bars that are simple, effective, and nourishing. But we are about more than just soap and beard oil.
