About Weekend Made

My name is Haley and I started Weekend Made because I simply couldn't find comfortable pajamas. For years I wore my pajamas inside out because they all had really scratchy seams -- even the expensive ones! This seemed like a minor irritation before I had children, but when I got pregnant with my first child I could no longer sleep. My old pajamas made me feel itchy and the seams gave me sensory overload at night. It made me angry and I would tear off my pajamas in frustration. After having children I needed sleep more than ever. Then I discovered that a lot of other people, adults and children, suffer in a similar way for a variety of reasons. That's when I set out to learn more about why I couldn't get comfortable. I researched which fabrics were best for the skin, and what their impact is on the environment. I started to analyze every garment I owned to understand which seams felt good, and which didn't. Then I tracked down as many contacts as I could until I found a local designer who could help me build the best pajamas I could imagine.Read their story
