Hi there! My name is Danielle and I moved to Vancouver, BC from Manitoba in 2013 and absolutely love living on the west coast! I first started this journey as a way to help deal with some of the symptoms I have from being diagnosed with PTSD. I soon realized I love working with my hands + that this was something that helped me feel a little calmer. I chose the name 'be soft.' because it's the first line in my favorite quote by Kurt Vonnegut. As the years have gone by, I've looked to it more often as life has brought many challenges and traumas that could have easily made me less soft and sensitive. Yet here I am. Still one of the softest (and strongest) people I know.
