About Van Delft Chocolates & Bakery

We are the oldest and largest factory of the most famous Dutch nut, the pepper nut. In 1880, Jan van Delft invented the peppernut as we know it: the smallest and, moreover, the most eaten cookie with the longest history in the world. With his progressive view, Van Delft soon invested in one of the first running belt furnaces. This is how the one and only pepper note was born: a spicy, crispy ball with a flat bottom. Since then, the unprecedented popularity of the peppernut has only increased: in recent years, we opened special peppernut shops throughout the Netherlands where an assortment of no less than 60 flavors of luxury (especially) chocolate spice nuts are sold with special flavors such as caramel sea salt, truffle cinnamon and extra cocoa Belgian chocolate... and the big public favorite the stroopwafel chocolate spice nut. In addition to peppernuts, we also have almond cookies (Cookiccinis), Glacé Biscuits, chocolated almonds and Eggynuts in our range.Read their story
