1914, World War I, everything flees. So does the Romanian pharmacist Boris Dreiding. He set off for Switzerland with the bare essentials in his suitcase: the secret recipe for a special hand cream that absorbs into the skin even faster than conventional ones. In the following years, Dreiding developed the recipe further — until it was perfect in 1921: The Arrow hand cream with almond oil was born. Later, the foot cream with menthol and the hand cream with allantoin were added. The secret recipe has been guarded in recent years by Tanja Dreiding Wallace, Boris's granddaughter. She continued to run the family business in the fourth generation. In 2016, the Dreidings handed over the company to Christian Dietrich, a long-time friend of the family. And he, too, still has these real classic creams produced in Switzerland. So look forward to a hand cream that is hard to beat in terms of quality and history.Read their story
