The possibility of sharing them with you, showing the piece of the antique Aegean culture is the main reason we started Kalkedon Towels. Our towels come from a little town in Western part of Turkey. We are so happy to work with people from a small community. We believe, people around us, are the most important and we should care about each other. Our peshtemals/ Turkish towels are lightweight and portable which makes them quite proper in a beach, travel but also thicker than many others which makes them perfect fit as a shawl or throw blanket for chilly nights. Our plush/oversized bath towels are weaved withTurkish cotton ring spun yarns on traditional jacquard looms. Therefore, it is long-lasting and not easily deformed. The towels are dyed with organic and traditional dyeing techniques.
