The idea for the Red Gold arose around a dinner table between two friends who were stuck in quarantine. Two saffron growers who were tired of paying exorbitant prices for mediocre saffron. Thus, we asked ourselves: why is it so difficult to find high quality saffron at a reasonable price? Two seemingly nimble guys, unable to come up with a good explanation. But before the night was over, the vision of the red gold had been created. We started the Red Gold with a simple promise: to offer authentic saffron of the highest quality at a reasonable price. This vision leads us forward, as we write the next chapter in the story of the Red Gold. Who are we? Brief: Ehsan, Elliot and the farmer. It's just us. We have no farms on an industrial scale; we do not use intermediaries, and we do not dilute our products with substandard saffron. We focus instead on delivering hand-picked saffron on a small farm where we can ensure that the farmer works under fair conditions. Because we are involved in every step, we can guarantee that the saffron is of the highest quality, sown without pesticides, and spared from all types of preservatives, additives or something that does not come from the fields of our saffron farms.
