About Orphic Living

Orphic (adj) enchanting, mysterious, fascinating. Everything to do with Orphic Living is designed, sourced and made in our tiny studio workshop in Bath, Somerset. Founded by Emily whose obsession with candles, craft and a cosy environment led her to partake in a short candle making course, after lots (and lots) of trial and error, Orphic Living was born in May 2020. Emily runs Orphic Living with the help of Joe who is chief of logistics, spreadsheets and washing up + Buster & Muffin the bunnies who help recycle any excess cardboard. We use the finest fragrance oils which are phthalate free and set in 100% natural soy wax. Soy wax ensures a clean, slow, even burn and is biodegradable.
