About Neve's Bees

Neve’s Bees is a purpose-led indie skincare brand founded by Julie Macken, a chemist, in 2011. Inspired by a moment with her daughter, Julie dedicated her life to creating honest, ethical skincare for people and the planet. Since the start of the 1900's. most skincare has been formulated using only a small quantity of moisturising oils, watered down with high quantities of water and processing chemicals (such as emulsifiers, preservatives, stabilisers and thickeners). These processing chemicals don't benefit either skin or planet and most of the water is evaporating. We don't think they have place in skincare so Neve's Bees is formulated using only natural whole plant oils (not 'nature identified molecules' or synthetics) and no processing chemicals or water. To date, Neve’s Bees has sold over 80,000 products, is Soil Association certified, awaiting final B Corp accreditation, and donates 10% of profits to nature recovery projects to restore wildflower meadows and support bees and pollinators.
