About Chaya De Silva Art

Chaya de Silva is a self-taught artist based on Surrey United Kingdom. Born in Sri Lanka to a family with respected and publicist with a background in Batik Art, which partly influenced in her artistic abilities. Since age of 9 she's used to watch and helps to her aunty to decorating clothes with batik arts and Chaya was inspired by with those batik arts. As a business management graduated at University of Sunderland Chaya took many different jobs to make ends meet. But she's never stopped work on her art work. she's has made a bold change in her life and career to pursue her passion for arts. Chaya working her art with acrylic, oil and mixed media. she's using vibrant colours, brushstrokes and different techniques to translate different characters an angles in to canvas.Read their story
