About My Neighbours The Dumplings

We are Bec and Kris, a husband and wife team, leading our family-run business in Hackney, East London. We started out with a weekly pop-up held above a grocery store on Lower Clapton road. Hand crafting delicate dumpling parcels with delicious fillings inspired my Bec’s Chinese heritage Our little humble pop up quickly grew and we opened our first Dumpling House on the same road back in 2016. We were an instant hit with our local community loving our blend of finely crafted hand-rolled dim sum and our approachable, laid-back family atmosphere. Our second site in Victoria Park followed in 2019, serving a slightly different menu but retaining the ethos of making all our dishes in-house using only the best ingredients. In the height of the pandemic, we pivoted our business and route to get our dumplings into the comfort of your own home, by launching the first range of restaurant quality frozen dumplings, condiments and meal kits. Now that we think about it, making it all the easier to share the dumpling love with you all, which is what we originally set out to do. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!Read their story
