Hello and welcome to my Faire shop! I’m excited to join the marketplace and am updating my collections. Please get in touch with any questions or special requests. During lockdown, I found myself drawn to the often-overlooked design elements in supermarkets—the colours, textures, graphics, and typography. It became the equivalent of visiting an art gallery. Everyday packaging, layouts, and branding began to inspire me in unexpected ways, especially in the creation of my latest food illustration collection. My work has been featured in Uppercase Magazine, stocked by the Museum of Brands (since 2023), and sold through Holly & Co, Liberty London’s British Craft Room, and independent gallery shops across the UK. I use sustainable materials wherever possible, including 100% organic cotton tea towels and FSC-certified cards. Much of my inspiration comes from my time as a textile designer in Kenya, where I worked with women’s groups and street children under the fierce, hot sun. There, colour was applied boldly, patterns were placed freely across fabrics, and nothing was wasted—a philosophy that continues to influence my practice today. Back in the UK, I became artist-in-residence for an environmental charity and scrapstore, where I developed an arts education programme and led a national conference on creativity and reuse. Recycled materials still play a big part in my practice, especially in printing and collage. These days, I work as a freelance artist and run art workshops
