We pay local workers fair wages to gather plastic from waterways to intercept it before it enters the deep sea and begins harming marine life and impacting human health. Those employees bring the plastic waste to recycling centers, where it is turned into plastic flakes, then sheets of polyester fabric. That fabric is then hand cut and hand-sewn on top of our high-quality stainless steel umbrella frames. The bamboo handle is added and with that, a Dri umbrella is born, existing to protect customers from Mother Nature, and Mother Nature from plastic pollution.
