About Stick In The Sand

The idea for Stick in The Sand was born on a blustery summer day on a white sanded beach in Cornwall, UK. Popular with holiday makers Deb looked across the cornish cove and was disappointed by the number of plastic windbreaks dotted around the otherwise spotless beach. Every windbreak is handmade using 100% cotton canvas and hand-dyed with eco-friendly dyes. All sewn in our workshop here in Cornwall. Stick In The Sand is on a mission to remove plastic windbreaks from the beaches and replace them with beautiful pieces of practical art. We're a band of nature loving, wild swimming, surf trying, happy people with the beach in our bones. Read their story
