About Limky

We are Joy & Doriane, two long-time friends, originally from Lyon and the Grand Ouest, respectively. Breastfeeding was a no-brainer as it is the WHO recommendation. But it made sense when Joy learned at 8 months of pregnancy that her mother was diagnosed with Cancer (breastfeeding significantly reduced the risk of breast cancer). Sensitive to the complexity of being a mother, we love the idea of being able to breastfeed in all circumstances... This was not always easy for Doriane's first two breastfeeds, often forced to uncover her entire chest or stomach to breastfeed in public places. So we decided to give birth to Limky in order to put our determination at the service of all women, with all the diversity of bodies and breastfeeding experience. #MilkyRead their story
