Founded by Ariane in 2019, Ariane Delarue is a couture lingerie brand designed with luxury and sustainability in mind. After training in the most selective workshops in Paris and London and working for brands such as Alexander McQueen, Ariane settled near Barcelona to create her own lingerie brand based on sustainability and craftsmanship. Applying the Haute-Couture techniques she acquired during her career, Ariane hand-designs every single piece, from shapes and fits to pattern making, keeping sustainability and environmental impact in mind at every step of the process. The collection is carefully cut by hand in the atelier and sown together by a maker in Barcelona. LOCALLY SOURCED FABRICS To minimize impact on the environment and carbon footprint, the fabrics used to create the collection are locally sourced. CAREFULLY SELECTED MATERIALS Upcycling to avoid overproduction, Ariane is using sustainable raw materials at every opportunity. Selection is based on factors such as whether the fabric can last a lifetime, and whether it will biodegrade at the end of its lifecycle. She buys laces on existing stocks from local boutiques. They are mainly antique. Due to this sourcing process, Ariane Delarue collections are very limited editions.
