About Ridgeback Yoga

Kerry Roth is a designer, artist and a yogi by life philosophy. She united her three passions and her belief that form and function have equal merit, when she created the ridgeback®. After years of being frustrated by the universal issues of a yoga towel, she couldn't take it any longer, so she thought she could find a better way... Taking five years to thoughtfully develop and design a rug that would allow yogis to better grip, sweat with ultra absorbency and flow without distraction or stink. Her vision to have every inch of it produced with integrity and beautiful craftsmanship led her to India, the birthplace of yoga — and now the ridgeback®. Read their story
