About Art by Courtney Stanley

My name is Courtney and I live in Cleveland, Tennessee with my husband, daughter, and two cats (Jack and Meyoncé). . I’ve been practicing and enjoying art for almost my entire life! It’s truly been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Late last year, I decided to turn it into a small business as well and I’m so glad I did! . A lot of the inspiration for my drawings comes from my childhood and things that feel nostalgic to me. For example, you may notice a recurring theme of figs, something I have fond memories of enjoying with family when I was a kid. . Outside of drawing, there are a lot of things I enjoy doing like trying new restaurants and coffee shops, making crafts with my daughter, listening to podcasts (especially while I’m drawing), and perusing antique stores. .
