StudioCork was founded in 2017 as a Cork Accessories Portuguese Brand. Manufacturing the handbags with artisans with more than 30 years of know-how in the cork sector. Sara Soares, one of the Co-Founders, worked as a Fashion Designer in the cork industry and since the beginning that brings a huge advantage to what is StudioCork today. Together with Tiago Casimiro with a great background in e-commerce, design and web, saw a huge potential in selling Cork Bags Worldwide and online exclusive. The main goal of this project is to spread “Cork” around the world as an alternative to genuine leather and also by giving a different approach to the Fashion World, providing trendy bags and wallets without compromising nature. StudioCork wants to rise the cork accessories to the international fashion market and is here to stay, with orders from more than 15 countries and 4 different continents in the first year after launching. The top markets are the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and Australia.
