Hello and welcome to my Art Althea collage studio! My name is Althea Sassman and I am a desert contemporary artist who combines layers of color, pattern and texture to create intriguing artworks entirely from torn paper collage. Handmade, hand-painted and recycled papers blend with significant text from old books, vintage postage stamps and timeless music sheets. Each original collage was inspired and created from my home studio in the desert foothills of Arizona and thanks to you they are now available as limited edition prints for travel across the USA and beyond! Art Althea giclées (‘jee-clays) are archival quality, fine art reproduction inkjet prints from a professionally photographed hi-resolution digital file onto premium artist paper. Two size options are available and can include matting in white for convenient, standard size framing.
