TryTallow started with two guys in New Jersey who were tired of overpriced, overprocessed “natural” skincare. Everything we tried either came loaded with seed oils, smelled like chemicals, or was made by some faceless factory pretending to be holistic. We didn’t want another clean, boring brand. We wanted something that actually worked and felt like it had a soul. So we went back to basics. Beef tallow. Real, grass-fed, rendered slow and made by hand. Our first batches were cooked in a kitchen and packed by hand in glass jars. No co-packers, no white label shortcuts, no corporate ingredient decks. That first balm became our hero product: the Organic Acne and Wrinkle Fighting Tallow Balm. It wasn’t trendy. It just worked. And word got out. From friends, to farmers markets, to retail shelves across the country. We’re still making it ourselves. Still packing orders out of our own warehouse. Still doing it the hard way because the hard way is what makes it better. TryTallow isn’t skincare for everyone.
