About Thistle Finch Designs

Hi, I'm Millie—the maker behind Thistle Finch Designs! I've been a designer and illustrator since 2009, creating my own brand in 2019 to share my designs and handmade art with the world. My designs are all hand-drawn by me in my studio in the heart of beautiful, historic Phoenixvile, PA - and to whatever extent possible I produce all of my product myself (including hand screenprinting all of my tea towels and tote bags). My work is largely inspired by traditional folk art and Pennsylvania Dutch symbolism, often with an unexpected twist and highlighting some of our most under-appreciated wild life.Read their story
