About Pattern Paper Scissors

I create sewing patterns & kits for crafty mums looking for a fun hobby minus the guilt of spending time to themselves! I started up Pattern Paper Scissors after my first child was born. I realised I wanted to put my 16 years of professional design and pattern cutting experience within the fashion industry to better use. I began to create my own clothing for my child, and loved the idea that I was following in my mums footsteps, getting creative and making my little one something completely unique that just happened to get lots of complements! And so I came to realise that I wanted to help other mums or indeed anyone that wanted to create something special for a loved one. I worked on a collection of 8 styles for children and 8 styles for babies and toddlers that are stylish, trendy and modern, and have the ability to be completely unique once the maker creates one. I also wanted to offer beginners a chance to learn these processes and see how easy it can be to make your own clothes. I believe the styles I have chosen are not only easy-to-wear, they are easy-to-make too. And for anyone that feels overwhelmed by the idea of picking fabrics i have put together starter kits. These include the Paper pattern, fabric, instructions and all the items (notions) you might need to get started. You'll just need some scissors and a sewing machine!
