About Studio Y/O

Studio Y/O (pronounced why-oh) is a ready-to-wear collection founded by Carmen Grande in 2019 with a mission to create unique, high-quality pieces that make dressing effortless. The collection is a study of self-expression, texture, proportion, comfort, and functionality for the modern human. We operate with respect for the environment and the garment worker community whose well-being is always at top of mind. We are committed to sourcing materials that are biodegradable, deadstock or post-consumer and our collections are produced in small quantities with our partners in downtown Los Angeles just a few doors down from our own design studio.Read their story
