About Variorum

Variorum is a homeware and gifts shop inspired by the Scottish landscape, wildlife and culture. All designs are created with a sense of calm and storytelling behind them, to either remind people of home or even a memorable trip to this beautiful country. Helen is the owner and designer behind Variorum. Originally from the Shetland Islands in the middle of the North Sea, she has set up a small studio down in the Scottish Borders where she creates every piece of art and every pattern from scratch. After receiving an honours degree in textile design, as well as the Dr Oliver medal for highest achieving graduate of 2020, Helen has put her design knowledge into Variorum as well as using her business focused mind to understand her customers.
