GIGI table works of art are unique pieces made of glass and rock crystal. The artist Otmar Trost has acquired substantial knowledge in order to be able to produce these works of art. GIGI carafes are unique in the world and are produced in Switzerland. GIGI water is served in high-end restaurants and a range of GIGI carafes can also be found in selected boutiques and spa resorts. Did you already know? Glass loves and needs a lot of heat to make it soft and malleable. However, high temperatures cause rock crystal to fracture. So how do you achieve the impossible? Just that much. The manufacturing process requires specially made tools and the passion of a madman to do this balancing act. Many work steps over several days are required to combine these two different materials, which yet come from the same family. But forget the hardships!
