Viva Maria is the brainchild of founder Yannely Ayala, a trailblazing hairstylist and beauty entrepreneur. After 12 years of managing her own salon, running a beauty retailer specializing in Black- and Brown-owned brands, and experiencing gaps in the industry for multi-textural solutions, Yannely sought to create a brand that addressed these frustrations. Viva Maria was born out of Yannely’s determination to simplify a stylists hair product kit while prioritizing every texture. From sourcing sustainable packaging to reengineering existing hero products, Yannely has poured three years of research, se, and care into ensuring Viva Maria offers results-driven solutions without compromise.
