This shop was started because I ran out of room to store things I had painted. Seriously. After my husband and I bought our first house we were organizing the craft closet. I made a comment about how I didn't have enough room for all of the things I'd made, to which he responded, "Why don't you sell some of it?". I thought he was joking so I offered back a quip and kept organizing. A few months later my aunt asked me to paint her some ornaments for her Christmas tree. When I delivered the finished products to her house she told me that a couple of her friends also wanted ornaments. She gave me their contact information and within a couple of weeks I had my very first customers. That feeling of creating something, with my own hands, for someone to enjoy was enthralling. I began researching what it would take to open my own Etsy shop immediately. This shop has been years in the making. If I'm honest I've wanted to own a small craft business since I was a little girl. I distinctly remember using pipe cleaners and beads to make ornaments at my grandmother's house when I was seven. I took those ornaments home and set up a table outside my room where I "sold them" to my sisters and parents. Now I'm running a business selling ornaments online, and every order still gives me butterflies.Read their story
