About Bellamie Kids

Bellamie Kids is a family run business, built by us in our London home. Although we launched in Summer 2022, the idea of having our very own childrenswear brand has always been a burning idea for our founder Anna. When Anna had her first son in 2013, it was then she soon discovered the lack of neutral and allergy prone skin friendly options out there. Shopping trips often felt disappointing when she found that more than half of the store always felt highly marketed towards girls, leaving very little options for boys. Shops were often filled with very stereotypical, old-fashioned colours and designs separated into genders, cheaply made with polyester and non-natural fibres. Anna enjoyed designing non-stereotypical gender clothing whilst studying Textile Design at University, ensuring the design could be worn by both genders and purely made from natural fibres. Anna has worked in a few creative jobs in the design industry but always wanted to create her own brand, and here came Bellamie Kids! We want to drop the old ways of designing for genders and for our clothes to be enjoyed by everyone! As a family with a history of sensitive skin, being a kind-to-skin brand is important to us, being as organic as we possibly can is our top priority, so we've made sure our clothing is natural and sustainable, made with organic cotton.
