What happens when friends from Cologne start thinking about how they could make life a little more convenient? The jumpster. An evening in Cologne in May — Alex has just returned from Finland, where he spent a semester abroad while studying. He has been celebrating into May in Helsinki since 2007. What is “Dance into May” in Cologne is celebrated in Finland as “Vappu” (Walpurgis Night). Traditionally, Finnish students wear overalls in the color of their student council during celebrations of this type. These student overalls are extremely practical when celebrating, but are more like a blue man in appearance and comfort. Alex explains that the jumpsuit is not only great for celebrating, but that he also served him well while snowboarding in Lapland. The reaction of others: “Hey — we want something like that too! What do you think of a one-piece that is not only suitable for parties and super practical for sports, but also looks cool, is comfortable and is great for chilling out? ” No sooner said than done. That was 2011. Since then, Jumpster has developed as the German label for comfortable overalls and jumpsuits for adults and children.
