About Alfarah Self Care

Alfarah Self Care was born in Santa Barbara out of a devotion to nature, herbalism, women's health and truly nontoxic skincare. Our founders, Sarah and Jim Johnson, began formulating after realizing that most “clean beauty” products still rely on synthetics, diluted extracts, and filler ingredients that do little for real skin health as well as self confidence and self care. Inspired by our grandmother who took care of others before herself and ancient plant medicine, we craft high-potency botanical blends using rare and powerful herbs such as Blue Lotus, Moringa, Lavender, Seaweed, and Yarrow. Every formula is designed to support the skin barrier, calm inflammation, restore radiance, and nurture the nervous system through scent and plant energetics. Our products are made in small batches with pure oils, whole-plant infusions, and earth-based ingredients—never fragrances, parabens, or hidden chemicals. We believe skincare should feel grounding, intentional, and connected to the earth.
