About Cara ... Cara Barseghian is a mixed media artist based in Sussex. She started her career as a Fashion Illustrator, but her first love was fine art and she has returned to abstract art and illustration using a variety of media which feature acrylics, pastels, watercolour and collage. Having lived in Brighton for 40 years, She now lives in the heart of rural Sussex with her partner, 3 cats ,7 chickens and a cockerel, called 'Marmaduke'. Whilst Cara takes inspiration from having spent the last 20 years as a singer and singing teacher and enjoying a life full of music, she now appreciates the harmony and serenity of enjoying the rich nature surrounding her and is at her happiest painting in her studio.
