Who We Are: At Isinmi Candle Co., we make hand-poured candles for those who are constantly on the go and struggle to find time for rest. We are so often consumed in the day-to-day hustle of our lives that we neglect ourselves, including our minds and bodies. Our candles are a reminder to prioritize rest and embrace each moment. While rest looks differently for everyone, we hope these scents are a reminder to stop, take a moment, and just breathe. Culture: As a company founded by a Nigerian-American, culture influences how we view rest. Unfortunately, hustle culture knows no borders; the struggle to prioritize rest while chasing our goals and fulfilling our responsibilities is universal. Each scent incorporates our founder's Yoruba language to include those words at the core of what we strive for as a company: to reclaim what it means to engage in meaningful rest and its importance to our lives. These candles do not simply smell good and are not merely aesthetically pleasing (which they are), but they remind us to shift how we tend to view and engage with rest.
