Katie Carrillo is a Latina, LGBTQ+ artist currently based in Kansas City, MO. Katie received her B.A. in Performing Arts at Clemson University in South Carolina. Previously a theatrical costume designer, she is now an independent artist. Katie enjoys creating fun, colorful pieces that explore nature, mental health, and little animal fellas. Her favorite thing about making illustrations is trying to capture the fun and cute things in life! She also enjoys crochet, jewelry-making, and assorted crafting endeavors.
