About Butter Tree

The journey of Butter Tree started with a problem; my skin. Throughout my life I have been plagued with irritated skin. I was constantly reacting to something and never had a clear day. Overtime, I learned that chemicals, additives, and preservatives were the real culprits, so, they are out. There is nothing but nature. My commitment to natural ingredients came from growing up on a farm and working for a decade catering with a focus on fresh and local foods. I understand the importance of natural ingredients and knowing what is in your products no matter if those products are to be eaten or to be put on your skin. We don't "just sell soap". All of our soap is all natural and free of chemicals. The scents are from essential oils and the colorant is from spices, clay, or roots. We blend the essential oils ourselves so there is always a scent to fit the season. We value quality, so every bar is made by hand with attention to detail and ingredients. So yes, it does clean your skin, but it also leaves your skin with nutrients that you don't find in "just soap". Not only are our bars handmade with all natural ingredients, but our brand believes that we have the power to leave the world a better place. We NEVER use palm oil. We NEVER test on animals. And we believe in sustainable plastic free packaging. Our goal is to give our customers healthier skin while protecting our animals and our planet. Read their story
