About Brave Mavis

Brave Mavis is a British design brand based in Oxford, UK. Marvellous and mischievous goods: cards, mugs, pen pots and more! Our style is a mix of digitalised vintage encyclopedia images and modern monochrome sketches paired up with bold and brash wording. Everything is created with a cheeky twinkle in our eye! All of our products are designed, produced, printed and packaged in house by mother-in-law and son-in-law duo Sally and Ryan. WHO'S MAVIS? Mavis is a wise, wonderful woman. She has purple hair, likes bright green rimmed glasses and wears sheepskin mittens on cold days because they "help to keep her nose warm". She's a rebel and a misfit and she likes to tell people that she used to live on a narrow boat, even though she never did. Not really... (Brave Mavis is an acronym of Sally, Ryan and Sally's six grand daughters first names!)
