Glam Gardener is a New York-based mission-oriented business. We handcraft herbal products with wild and organic plants. Run by a forager & outdoor educator. We offer educational services in NYC & New Jersey. We make silly art for nature lovers. Glam Gardener NYC is run by a wild plant forager and environmental educator that believes one of the secrets to a life well lived is to be connected with nature. Glam Gardener has roots in New York City. Born and bred in the borough of Staten Island, we started this business to teach people about locally-growing wild plants. Why? To share the flavors of the forest with others and to encourage our community to explore our local green-spaces. At the beginning, we led community walks in our local forests to teach others about wild-growing medicinal plants. This led to crafting small-batch remedies with seasonal delights. Like Spicebush berries, Garlic mustard leaves, Sassafras twigs and more. These plants held ancient wisdom, unique flavors, forgotten histories, and wild remedies. Over the years, Glam Gardener has transformed into a small business offering artisanal herbal products crafted with regionally-harvested, American-grown, and high-quality plants. Although we do not have a traditional storefront, all of our products are currently handcrafted in a certified commercial kitchen. Our kitchen is also a certified gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and GMO-free facility called Starseed Bakery. Read their story
