Starting to sell products was a natural segue as we also grow and maintain olive orchards, and mill and produce olive oil in California (formerly in France as well). In fact, we opened the first modern olive oil mill in Santa Barbara County. While Shawn and Antoinette both have graduate degrees from the Food Research Institute at Stanford University, it is their further work in real-world business and their experience as farmers and millers that inform decisions at the Olive Oil Source.
