About Hills & Field

Hills & Field is all about the experience of meaningful giving and we have made it our mission to connect people through giving. When you receive a Hills & Field greeting card, we hope that it takes your mind away from the daily worries and that blissful feeling that arises when you read a handwritten message from a loved one. Laura Maria (couturier) and her sister, Hilde (healthcare consultant) founded Hills & Field and designed the first series of greeting cards at the peak of the corona epidemic in the spring of 2020. 'Unfortunately, there are plenty of reasons to get sad. Friends and family who lose jobs or become incredibly ill,' says Hilde. 'With the holidays in mind, we thought, how can spread some love, light and laughter?' According to Laura, 'In recent years I have designed not only fashion but also art that regularly ended up on wedding cards. That gave me the idea to start designing cards for the coming holidays.' All of our cards are printed on 300mg luxurious Tintoretto paper, made from uncoated FSC® certified, environment-friendly ECF pulp. Our cards are packed at a social workplace in Rotterdam, Netherlands, by a community disintegrated from the labor market – often as a result of a combination of problems: social, psychological, financial, housing and/or addiction problems.Read their story
