About Overherd

Overherd started with one moment of realisation: oat milk is 90% water. Yep. We were buying mostly water! And yet it's shipped around the world in heavy cartons when most of us already have perfectly good water at home. It just didn’t add up. We were FED UP of endless cartons filling the bin, the half-finished cartons going off in the fridge, the CO₂ created from moving something that’s 90% water, the seed oils filling our drinks. We asked a simple question: why not keep the concentrate and let people add the water themselves? So we kept the good part (the flavour) and left the water for people to add at home or on-site. After plenty of testing (and a fair bit of oat dust), we created a delicious oat milk powder that’s 10x lighter, uses up to 91% less packaging, cuts food waste, and fits into your home and work life. No fridge required, no preservatives needed, no half-finished cartons going off.
