Yoga prints is the work of Danish artist and illustrator Marie Jørgensen. Yoga prints is a series of hand drawn yoga illustrations that advocates radical self-acceptance through yoga and celebrate people of all shapes, colours and moods doing yoga. Yoga prints came from the artist wanting a beautiful yoga poster to reference and enjoy in her yoga practise. Nothing of the sort was available and so she set out to bring them to life herself using pencil and watercolour. Praised for their minimal, hand painted aesthetic, the framed prints are a perennial favourite with the yoga community as well as interior stylists. As Yoga Prints matures, the humans pictured are increasingly non-conforming to the idealized image perpetuated by the yoga industry. Here you will meet people of different ages, sizes and skin colours, some with lots and little body fat, varying amounts of body hair and perhaps most importantly: different emotional states.
