Lucy is the face behind Opals Treasures. An independent small business, that is passionate about reducing plastic pollution. OT is based in Armagh, Northern Ireland (UK). My products are made using 100% recycled, post-consumer plastic. High-density polyethene (HDPE -2) to be specific. This includes, but is not limited to Milk cartons and lids, bleach and shampoo bottles, and soft drink lids! I launched my business in July 2021, when I was feeling inspired by low waste and plastic-free living. Since then, I have had over 10 million video views on Instagram and TikTok and quite a few viral videos. People just can't believe trash can look so good! I really care about the environment and do everything I possibly can to reduce my impact on our beautiful plant. If you would like to hear more about what I do to help this, please feel free to ask.
