About Merrymeeting Press

Merrymeeting Press is the studio of artist and printmaker David Morgan, on the coast of Maine. He makes woodcut prints, which include a line of individually hand-printed greeting cards. Each card is derived from a hand-carved woodcut print, and every card is printed individually by hand on an etching press, by David himself. The blocks for the cards are photo-etched on magnesium dies and are reduced in size from the original woodcuts so they'll fit on 5x7 cards. They're faithful in every detail to the original prints, and every one is a unique and completely inky-analog handmade work of art. Read their story
