About Ecolã

Ecolã is the oldest certified UPA (Artisanal Productive Unit). Since 1925 (third family generation) and located in Manteigas, Serra da Estrela, it follows the entire Bordaleira sheep's wool cycle, from shearing to the final product, on an ecological and sustainable basis. Using traditional processes, it maintains a cultural heritage associated with design.
