Ashley is the heart and hands behind Marie Laveau Creations, a brand born from grit, creativity, and a lifelong love of Western art. While working at her local floral shop, she felt called to take the cow skulls she’d always admired and make them her own. What started as a passion project quickly grew into something more — each piece carefully cleaned, restored, and completely finished by hand, with Ashley adding her signature blend of rustic soul and artistic detail. No two creations are ever the same. Every skull tells its own story — layered with texture, natural elements, and a touch of Western spirit — reflecting Ashley’s belief that beauty can be found in the raw and weathered. The name Marie Laveau Creations carries deep personal meaning. Inspired by the song Marie Laveau by Bobby Bare, and with Marie as her middle name, Ashley’s dad lovingly nicknamed her “Marie Laveau.” When it came time to name her business, there was no question — it felt like destiny woven together with family, music, and heritage. Today, Marie Laveau Creations is more than art.
