About Nari

Nari was born from a longing for real chai. After moving from India to the U.S., I deeply missed the daily ritual of chai I grew up with, made with handroasted whole spices, real organic black tea, and a lot of care. What I found instead were overly sweet concentrates and syrups that lacked depth, freshness, and the wellness benefits of traditional chai. At Nari, we hand roast our spices in small batches. Hand roasting allows us to preserve freshness, unlock deeper flavor, and gently activate the natural benefits of each spice. This process elevates the taste of the chai while making it easier on the body, just as chai has been prepared for generations. Every blend is thoughtfully crafted to honor tradition while fitting into modern life. Our chai is bold, balanced, and rooted in wellness, without shortcuts or artificial additives. The name Nari means woman, honoring the strong women and generational knowledge behind this journey, especially my grandmother, who first taught me how to make chai.
