About ALGAS LA PATRONA

We are women artisanal producers of Galician seaweed for harvesting. Algae grow naturally in Galician estuaries, ours are from the Rías Baixas, especially from the Ria de Arousa, a 100% national product. We work with 5 species of algae: Kombu, Wakame, Sea Spaghetti, Sea Lettuce and Percebe Algae. We also have delicious algae preserves such as Algae Fumet (for cooking or even as a detox drink), natural seaweed (pure explosion of the sea in the mouth), seaweed olive oil with a Mediterranean flavor (seaweed salad, black olive, dried tomato, EVOO and the touch of La Ulloa herbs) and, finally, Alganesa (seaweed mayonnaise). We have the Ecological and Vegan labels and our containers are compostable. Read their story
